Wild Edible and Medicinal Plant WalksPlease contact the Birch Center if you would like to schedule a wild edible walk. Herbalist Melissa Sokulski, L. Ac. is happy to take you and your friends out for walk around your neighborhood, pointing out which plants (weeds!) are edible and medicinal. Alternatively, we can meet in the Birch Center and walk along the south side.
Depending on the time of year, we will likely see purslane, lambs quarters, dandelion, and plantain sprouting up in the cracks of the sidewalk! By the time we reach the river, we'll see medicinal plants such as mullein, asters, mugwort, burdock, St. John's Wort, evening primrose, and many more.
$150 for 1 1/2 hour walk and talk, plus travel fee, ($50 per additional half hour)
